Phase 1
The Instructional Manual
The goal of this phase has less to do with the physical achievement of good posture and more to do with the awareness that good posture is a function of specific muscles. You will perform the following 4 maneuvers periodically throughout the day, every day until certain flexibility and balance milestones are achieved.
Maneuver #1: Pelvic tilt
Maneuver #2: Chin tuck
Maneuver #3: Blade squeeze
Maneuver #4: Trunk lift
Flexibility Milestone: Touch palms flat to floor in front of feet
Balance Milestone: unstable single leg toe touch
